1st Round Rock Meeting of the Williamson County Guitar Society will take place Feb. 29, 3-4 pm at the Round Rock Downtowner Gallery. This meeting is devoted to cultivating young musicians. Any pre-college guitarists who wish to perform may come and sign up or, to assure a place, contact us to put your name on the performance list. We welcome both soloists or groups. We are expecting a performance group of 8 young guitarists who will be competing in the Southwest Guitar Symposium in March. For parents (or grandparents) of kids in music lessons or thinking about putting their kids in music lessons, a short presentation will be given about successful adult involvement strategies. This event is free and open to the public.
